UM London appoints Matt Morgan as Managing Partner for Digital

UM LONDON APPOINTS MATT MORGAN AS MANAGING PARTNER FOR DIGITAL23 November, London: UM London has appointed Matt Morgan – a long-standing player in IPG Mediabrands’ digital space – as Managing Partner for Digital.

In line with the network’s commitment to changing the digital agenda, Matt will take the lead in driving digital transformation within the UK agency. He will be tasked with fostering a culture of innovation and developing new ways of working together under a restructured integrated planning model.

Matt will also be the digital focal point for UM London’s key clients, leading strategic digital projects and working alongside the planning teams to determine a clear digital vision for each client.In his most recent role within the network, Matt worked as Digital Strategy Director for IPG Mediabrands EMEA. In this role, he focused on building and implementing Mediabrands’ mobile full service proposition, Ansible, working closely with the recently acquired Mubaloo business to integrate its services into the wider network.

A well-known figure in the digital industry, Matt brings 15 years of experience to the role, having previously held a variety of digital leadership positions both in agency networks and mobile ad tech businesses, as well as sitting on the IAB’s Mobile Council. Previously, Matt was account lead at UM London for Xbox EMEA, Mastercard and Bacardi, before moving onto other agency roles. He went on to lead digital strategy and planning at Manning Gottlieb OMD for Apple and Sony Entertainment in the UK, before returning to IPG Mediabrands in 2014.
