UM London and Fuller’s toast victory at Beer Marketing AwardsUM London has struck gold at the Beer Marketing Awards for its work with Fuller’s London Pride. The agency’s ‘London Pride, Made of Rugby’ campaign won in the ‘Best Event’ category.

For ‘London Pride, Made of Rugby’, UM London helped London Pride transform an historic Fuller’s pub in central London into a dedicated sports clubhouse – the ultimate place to watch the 2015 Rugby World Cup.

The London Pride Clubhouse opened on nine key match days during the tournament, and UM partnered with The Evening Standard, London’s best-read free quality daily, to promote the events and give away free tickets. Over 23,000 people applied for tickets, setting a new record for an Evening Standard promotion.

The Beer Marketing Awards celebrate creativity across the UK beer world. In 2015, London Pride won the Grand Prix and Best Print Advertising Campaign for ‘Made of London’, a campaign which saw London Pride host a series of live events with famous, yet down-to-earth, Londoners at Fuller’s pubs across the capital.
